- General presentation of the project:
Lately, the international economy is witnessing a series of increasing changes and developments that have reflected on the economies of many countries of the world, Algeria for example. To adapt with this status, despite the different political and economic systems of this countries, it sought to offer help and support to its national economies, by establishing support means and mechanisms accompanying small and medium project owners and start-ups raising the entrepreneurial spirit.
The creation of projects in tourism or its supporting fields is of utmost importance to what Algeria’s owns of touristic facilities, as well as the state’s accompaniment and supporting means to uplift the Algerian tourism sector in light of a diversification strategy outside the hydrocarbons. This highlights the importance of tourism entrepreneurship and start-up companies and their role in achieving economic and social development.
From this basis, we saw it fit to shed light on tourism entrepreneurship and start-ups companies, trying to emphasize its role and importance in promoting tourism in Algeria under the bets of economic diversification which Algeria seeks to underline, through the following main question:
To which extent does tourism entrepreneurship contribute developing the tourism sector under economic diversification strategies in Algeria? What is the start-ups’ companies path to develop the sector?
- Collective writing objectives:
This collective project seeks to achieve a set of objectives, the most important of which are:
- Identifying the reality of tourism entrepreneurship in Algeria;
- Enriching the scientific debate on entrepreneurship role in promoting tourism activities;
- Defining the means and mechanisms to finance and tourism entrepreneurship accompaniment;
- Forecasting tourism entrepreneurship in Algeria;
- Highlighting the most important supporting bodies to establish, finance and develop small and medium businesses and start-ups in Algeria;
- Highlighting the developmental role of the small and medium businesses and start-ups which is interested in the tourism sector;
- Providing solutions and suggestions to the issues and challenges faced by entrepreneurs to contribute to the diversification of the national economic products;
- Identifying and benefitting from countries’ experiences on encouraging entrepreneurship in tourism.
- Collective writing chapters:
First Chapter: Conceptual, legislative, and organizational framework for entrepreneurship and start-up companies in the tourism
Second Chapter: Accompaniment bodies and financing small and medium businesses and startup companies in Algeria.
Third Chapter: The Importance of information technology and communication in start-up companies and their role in developing tourism.
Fourth Chapter: Business climate’s role in developing tourism entrepreneurship.
Fifth Chapter: Traditional industries, crafts, and the role of women in developing tourism.
Sixth Chapter: Successful local and international experiences in tourism entrepreneurship and their impact on social and economic development.
- Participation conditions:
- The researcher should commit following a sound scientific approach, the research should be based on criticism and analysis.
- The paper should be written in either Arabic, French or English
- The paper has never published, under review, or used on a previous scientific event.
- The paper is written in Traditional Arabic format, size 14 for Arabic papers, and Times New Roman Format, Size 12, for French and English papers.
- The sources and references must be cited according to the American Psychology Association (APA)
- The researcher must present their paper’s abstract in two languages and must not exceed 300 words, and 15 pages.

- Experts and executives at the level of various departments of Tourism Ministry and Handicrafts
- Experts and managers at the level of various departments of Small and Medium Enterprises and Start-Up Companies Ministry.
