On Thursday, March 09, 2023, starting at 13:30, the Doctoral Club of the Laboratory of Economics of Organizations and the Natural Environment (EcoNature) of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Commercial Sciences and Management Sciences, University of Ouargla, organized a study day, in the form of a lecture delivered by Professor Mohamed Hamza Bengrina, titled: “Entrepreneurship The reality of thought and the challenges of education. In it, he touched on the concepts, dimensions and characteristics of entrepreneurship inspired by "Joseph Schumpeter", then moved on to presenting the most important aspects related to the methods and curricula of teaching and teaching entrepreneurship at the Algerian University.
The session was characterized by a rich discussion of a significant number of interlocutors and participants, both physically and remotely, via the Google Meet platform, which showed the interest of the attendees, including professors and researchers, as well as project owners, companies and professionals in the field, who presented their experiences and put forward their points of view. The director of the incubator of institutions and the director of the entrepreneurial house in the wilaya of Ouargla and the wilaya of Ghardaia, as well as the director of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support (formerly Youth Support) attended the study day.
The academic day was also marked by the honorable participation of the distinguished professor, Pr. André Joyal (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR)) who has written previously on small and medium enterprises in Algeria (among them: Algerian Small and Medium Enterprises and the Challenge of Internationalization in 2010). With his brief presentation of the Canadian experience in the field of entrepreneurship education within university curricula.
