On the morning of Friday, December 1, 2023, the meeting hall at the headquarters of the Directorate of the University of Kasdi-Merbah-Ouargla hosted a coordination meeting that falls within the activities of the European partnership project ERODITE, which is part of the European partnership program Erasmus+.

Kasdi Merbah University was honored to host members of the European project from member states. The meeting was chaired by Professor Muhammad Mahdi Qadri, Deputy Director in charge of External Relations, representing the University Director, Professor Muhammad Al-Taher Hulailat, and representatives of Jordanian universities (Jadarah University, Balqa University and the University of Science and Technology) were present. Three Greek universities, a representative of a Turkish university, and representatives of the University of Tlemcen and the Arzio Oran Space Technologies Center.
The training days will begin on Saturday, December 2, 2023, under the supervision of experts in the field of remote sensing, geomatics and geodesy, for the benefit of project members, and master’s and doctoral students, of the Department of Earth and Cosmic Sciences. These activities fall within the framework of knowledge exchange and capacity enhancement in this field.
These days will also witness the participation of lecturers from some of the economic partners of petroleum companies and others in the field of water resources exploitation to highlight the importance of technologies in these two sectors, noting that these events will last until December 4, 2023.
