As part of the University of Ouargla's openness to its external environment, the university received this morning, October 23, 2024, Professor Suleiman Tawfiq, representing the University of Limerick, Ireland, in the lecture hall of the Scientific Entertainment Center, in the presence of university officials and students.

This visit represents a real opportunity to build a partnership between the University of Ouargla and its Irish counterpart, where Professor Suleiman Tawfiq gave an introductory lecture about the University of Limerick and the specializations it includes, highlighting the most important projects and academic exchange and international cooperation programs, such as the +ERASMUS program.

The meeting was characterized by great interaction from the attendees, both professors and students, who participated in the discussion and raised many questions and inquiries, which gave the guest the opportunity to provide comprehensive answers, which further clarified many cognitive aspects that can be benefited from in the future through available scientific partnerships.
At the end of today's visit, Professor Suleiman visited both the Scientific Research Center and CRAPC, where he met with laboratory officials and doctoral students, as part of strengthening research and academic relations between the two universities. He will meet with the university president tomorrow, Thursday, October 24.
