As part of the celebration of the National Martyr's Day, which falls on February 18 of each year, the University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla organized, on Monday morning, February 17, 2025, a national forum entitled "The Power of Algerian Diplomacy between Historical Constants and International Tensions", a university of citizenship, institutional immunity, historical reference, in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at University Pole 2, in coordination with the National Federation of Higher Education and Scientific Research, University Branch, in the presence of the Wali of Ouargla, Mr. Abdelghani Filali, and the security and military authorities, in addition to the deans of the university's faculties, prominent academic and union cadres, and student representatives at the University of Ouargla.

In this context, the State Secretary of the National Federation of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ouargla University Branch, on behalf of the Secretary General of the National Federation of Higher Education and Scientific Research, touched on Algeria's diplomatic and historical position.
In this regard, the families of the martyrs Shenin Kaddorou and Khalil Abdelkader were honored, in a gesture of loyalty to the martyrs of the nation who contributed to shaping the features of Algerian diplomacy since the liberation revolution.
The event also witnessed the organization of interventions related to the subject presented by a group of professors and experts.
The forum also included an open exhibition for cultural and scientific clubs for activities that embody the occasion, in addition to parallel activities inside the hall.


It is noteworthy that the forum concluded with a discussion session and recommendations from the attending researchers and professors, stressing the need to continue such meetings to enhance understanding of Algerian diplomacy in light of international changes.
