Within the framework of the celebrations commemorating the demonstrations of December 11, 1960, and under the supervision of the University Rector, Professor Mohamed Al-Taher Hulilat, and in the presence of the university’s pedagogical and administrative staff, the Sub-Directorate for Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities wrote a rich program to commemorate this anniversary under the slogan: The determination of a people... and the pride of a homeland. December 11, 2023, at the conference hall level of University Pole 02, during which Mr. Hussein Daho, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages, delivered a speech in which he mentioned the importance of these demonstrations, which are considered a decisive turning point in the path of the glorious November 1 Revolution and the sacrifices of the martyrs and mujahideen for the sake of Algeria’s independence and the restoration of its sovereignty. Dr. Lahcen Ibrahim also had a distinguished intervention titled: “Reflective pauses on the demonstrations of December 11, 1960.”
