The eighth edition of the "INNOVEX 2025" conference kicked off on Sunday, April 20, 2025, in the lecture hall of the Scientific and Cultural Entertainment Center. The conference was organized by the Electronics Club, the Scientific Corner Club, and the Elitech Club, and under the supervision of the Faculty of Modern Information and Communication Technologies. The event was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Research, Professor Mohamed Radwan Kafi; the head of the university's Quality Assurance Unit; deans of faculties and secretaries-general of faculties; the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship Support and Development; several professors from the Faculty of Modern Information and Communication Technologies; and student entrepreneurs.

The Vice President delivered a speech announcing the opening of the event. The Dean of the Faculty also delivered a speech in which he praised the role of university clubs in the continuity of this scientific event, which showcases technological innovation projects in the field of information and communication technologies and brings together professors, students, researchers, and experts from various fields.

The first day of this edition also featured a series of activities, including:

- Presentation of student and participant projects.

- Organizing interactive workshops led by a group of professors and experts, and training sessions aimed at developing participants' skills and honing their talents in the fields of programming, artificial intelligence, and networks.
- Scientific presentations on startups.
- This scientific event will conclude with the selection of the best startup projects on Monday, April 21, 2025.
