The best offer will be selected and will benefit from full funding by Weatherford to complete the station at the company’s headquarters in Hassi Messaoud.
The deadline for registration is Thursday, April 11, 2024.

This morning, Monday, March 18, 2024, the Algerian University of Ouargla and the Jordanian University of Jadara held a coordination meeting via remote lecture technology in the meeting room of the University Directorate, in order to identify and explore opportunities for cooperation between the two universities within the framework of the previously concluded cooperation agreement between them within the European Union Erasmus project.
In the presence of the University Rector, Professor Muhammad Al-Taher Hulailat, the University Vice Rector in charge of External Relations, the Chief of Staff, and all of the deans of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine.
During the meeting, the capabilities enjoyed by both universities were discussed in terms of the diversity of their faculties and departments in various specializations, especially new specializations such as green hydrogen, pharmacy, and water desalination at the University of Ouargla.
The attendees also discussed ways of scientific and pedagogical cooperation, student exchange, and training sessions for employees and workers of the two universities.
The meeting is an important step towards strengthening relations between the University of Ouargla and the Jordanian University of Jadara, and enhancing scientific and research cooperation between them, which contributes to the advancement of academic and research work in both countries after the directors of the two universities expressed their willingness to open the way for all participatory research projects between them, as well as laying solid foundations for cooperation. Between them in various fields, especially in light of the new specializations that are witnessing increasing interest at the international level.



Council of Ministers meeting

Following the presentation of the agenda of the meeting and then the government’s activity by the Prime Minister, for the last two weeks, in addition to the interventions of the Ministers, the President of the Republic gave the following orders, instructions and directives:

- At the beginning, and after presenting the progress report on the progress of the digitization process, Mr. President stressed the pace of maximum speed of work, until the goal of comprehensive digitization of all sectors.
The President of the Republic ordered the government ministers to accelerate the digitization of data for each sector in preparation for the technical background and localization of information.
He ordered the High Lady of Digitization to prepare a presentation before the Council of Ministers for approval, related to the contract with Huawei to establish an information storage center.
Second: Regarding the new mission of what was called (model farms):
Mr. President decided to transform the model farms into state production units, specializing in three types: legumes, oil seeds, and oil trees.
Mr. President appreciated the efforts made by private individuals in the agricultural sector, stressing that the primary credit for raising and diversifying production and taking initiatives goes to them.
Mr. President stressed that adopting a new mentality is a prerequisite for achieving a revolution in the agricultural sector.
- Setting goals precisely and launching initiatives for the benefit of recently graduated young people looking for success, and motivating them, especially in the legumes divisions.
- Encouraging production units that have proven their success and ability to develop agricultural activity and disseminate their model.
He ordered a complete move away from politicizing the sector and integrating it more into technology instead of administrative and bureaucratic management.
Third: Regarding a presentation on the basic law and the compensation system for national education corps:
The President of the Republic ordered the presentation to be postponed and the study to be deepened with the aim of improving its content, more than what was proposed, taking into account that the teacher is an educator, before he is an employee.
Setting priorities, according to a modern view, places the qualitative formation of future generations at the center of attention.
Mr. President directed to study more offers and proposals that serve the education sector, away from all forms of calculations outside the educational field.
Fourth: Regarding a current offer in anticipation of the 2024 Hajj season
The President directed the Minister of Religious Affairs to prepare optimally for the Hajj season, and on this occasion, the President of the Republic decided that the state would undertake, free of charge, the transportation of our distinguished pilgrims residing in the south and the far south to the take-off airports towards the Holy Places, in the states.
Fifth: Regarding the irrigation sector strategy regarding drinking water and used water
The President ordered exceptional measures to be taken with regard to the state of Bouira, which is to begin drilling wells and prospecting for groundwater, using the latest technologies and equipment for the first time since independence in the Zbarbar region.
The President ordered the acceleration of exploration for new sources of groundwater in the Qatrani area in Bechar, so that they can be exploited next summer.
The President also ordered the Minister of the Sector to closely monitor the progress of seawater filtration stations at the national level, appreciating the progress achieved nationally in the rate of filtration of used water.
The Cabinet meeting concluded with the approval of individual decisions that include appointments and termination of assignments to senior jobs and positions in the state.

The university incubator organizes a training course for holders of emerging projects
In implementation of Ministerial Resolution 1275, which includes a startup enterprise certificate/patent, the Kasdi Merbah Ouargla University Incubator organized on Thursday, February 15, 2024, a training course for the benefit of students with emerging projects. Its activities were held in the Grand Lecture Hall of the University Directorate, and the activities of this course were supervised by a group of professors who are experts in the field. They are Khalfawi Fathi, Bin Al-Habib Mohsen, Saqai Muhammad Munir, Salami Munira, and Issani Taha.
