Today, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, the activities of the study days on promoting emerging institutions in the field of ensuring food and health security, continue on their second day in the Crapc lecture hall, where the activities of the study day were known:
_ A lecture by Professor Hassan Jawad entitled “Cosmetics and methods of preparing them, the legal framework.”
_ An intervention by Professor Kurdon Muhammad Amin entitled:
“The importance of toxicology in the regulation of cosmetic products in Algeria to protect consumers’ security.”
 
_ An intervention by Professor Shiha Souad entitled “Functional Foods: Innovation and Healthy Food Safety in the Start-up System.”
The second day of the study concluded by opening the way for discussion and questions from the attendees to the professors who supervised the activities of the second day of the forum.
_ In the same context, the National Committee for Aromatic and Medicinal Plants of the National Organization for Economic Development was installed at the University of Kasdi-Merbah Ouargla.
_ Where Dr. Jawad Hassan was appointed as Chairman of the Doctor’s Committee, and 40 members of the committee were appointed from specialist doctors from various states.

Today evening, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the University of Kasdi-Merbah Ouargla and the National Organization for Economic Development, at the Faculty of Mathematics and Material Sciences, concluded a partnership agreement within the framework of developing scientific and medical cooperation in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants, supervised by the National Committee for Aromatic Plants, headed by Professor Hassan Jawad, in cooperation with laboratories. This morning, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the activities of the study days on promoting emerging institutions in the field of ensuring food and health security were launched at the level of the conference hall of the University Directorate, organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Material Sciences, Department of Chemistry, University of Kasdi-Merbah Ouargla, which extends from 06 to 08. February 2024 under the slogan “STARTUP”, after the Deputy Director in charge of External Relations, Mr. Mehdi Qadri, representing the University Director, Professor Muhammad Al-Taher Hulailat, gave the signal for the start of these national academic days.
Which addresses the main topics, which are the manufacture of nutritional supplements and natural cosmetics, the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants, the extraction of essential oils, in addition to traditional and modern herbal products.
Hosted by Algerian researcher Hassan Jawad, an expert in the nutritional supplements industry, and Professor Roubai Mounir Nasreddine, head of the National Organization for Economic Development, along with Dr. Kamal Boutouba, a specialist in clinical trials in the nutritional supplements industry, and Dr. Roubai Amira, a pharmacy specialist and lecturer at the University of Blida.
The organizing committee was represented by the head of the demonstration: Prof. Dr. Balfar Muhammad Al-Akhdar, and Chairman of the Organizing Committee: Prof. Dr. Makhlifi Tariq, along with the Chair of the Scientific Committee: Prof. Dr. Zawi Manal.
