A promise for the future...

In the history of the humanity, each city is an enigma forged by time and culture, each city is a mystery patterned by oblivion. Today, events challenge the collective memory and solicit its support: contemporaneity has allured them; it rediscovers the emerging meander of the myth in their civilizational integrity. Located Eight hundred kilometers from Algiers, Ouargla is a city that offers to the onlookers a vast and varied nature, with many Oases and Dunes. Visitors keep indelible memories of its beautiful overwhelming landscapes and the hospitality of its inhabitants.

In the region of Ouargla, each sandbank narrates its immeasurable love toward the nomadic and the sedentary men’s passion for such infinite spaces of solitude

These men have learned the hymn of stones and storms since Prehistory ( 250000 / 200 000AEC ) , Erg Touareg , Gara - Krima and Kum El Adamont preserved the tools of Palaeolithic industry ( bifaces , roller arranged , scrapers ) whereas Neolithic (4 500/3 000AEC ) the access of sebkhas reveal , when in a good mood , some combustion sources in the form of piles of burned stones.

Rich testimony of an era whose voice echoes have shaped the imagination of communities, which much later, will build this great urban city whose ruler is the ksar (classified  historic monument in 1996) with the crossroads of East-West and North-South peregrination.

The " khamsa " and " lam - alif " symbolize this meeting of cultures and civilizations ( Phoenician , Carthaginian ) that communities of BeniBrahim, BeniSissineet made Ouaggine known through the modern ages, how to express their respective forces of creativity amid tradition. It is this creative originality that characterizes Ouarglis so profoundly.
