Scientific visit of students from the new specialization “Applied Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science” at Kasdi Merbah University of Ouargla to Sonatrach – Production Division.

As part of strengthening applied training and openness to the professional and technological environment, students of the new specialization “Applied Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science” at Kasdi Merbah University of Ouargla carried out a scientific visit to Sonatrach – Production Division, which included the Data Center and the Telemetry Center.

This visit provided students with an opportunity to explore industrial data collection and processing mechanisms, and to become familiar with smart systems and modern technologies used in the hydrocarbons sector. It also helped enhance their practical knowledge and prepare them for field internships and real-world data handling in professional environments.

This initiative is part of Kasdi Merbah University of Ouargla’s strategy aimed at training qualified competencies in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, capable of keeping pace with digital transformation and responding to the needs of various key sectors.
