The Vice-Presidency for Higher Education in the First and Second Cycles, Continuing Education, Qualifications and Graduate Education is a central body within the University Administration; it is responsible for implementing national policy in the field of higher education at the institutional level.
The Directorate is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the delivery of first- and second-cycle programmes, ensuring that teaching programmes comply with approved standards, as well as monitoring continuing education programmes and managing university degrees in accordance with the applicable regulatory frameworks.
The Vice-Presidency is also responsible for monitoring and updating educational programmes, compiling educational statistics, ensuring the proper application of relevant regulations and legislation, and supervising higher education programmes in coordination with the various faculties and institutes, thereby ensuring the quality of education and the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives.
