The Vice-Rectorate for Development, Foresight and Guidance at university of kasdi merbah ouargla

The Vice-Rectorate for Development, Foresight and Guidance is considered one of the central bodies within the organizational and administrative structure of the university of ouargla. It comprises three departments staffed by administrative personnel from various technical and administrative ranks.

This Vice-Rectorate carries out several strategic missions in accordance with the ministerial decision dated 8 Rajab 1425 (corresponding to August 24, 2003), under which it is responsible for the following tasks:

Collecting the necessary elements for the preparation of the university development plan projects
Conducting prospective studies on the expected growth of the university’s student population and proposing appropriate measures to support them, particularly in terms of pedagogical and administrative supervision
Maintaining and regularly updating the university’s statistical database
Preparing informational materials related to the academic pathways offered by the university and their professional prospects
Providing students with all relevant information to help them make informed orientation choices
Monitoring construction programs and ensuring the implementation of university equipment projects in coordination with the relevant services

The Department of Statistics and Foresight is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and utilizing statistical data to support the preparation of studies and future projections.
