 Within the framework of mobilizing for the end of the academic year 2019-2020 and preparing for university admission 2020-2021 in light of the Covid-19 crisis, and in this context and similar to the universities of the homeland, on July 22-2020, a local cell was installed to follow up health protocols, and the cell consists of:

- University Rector

- University Secretary General

- Deputy directors in charge of pedagogy, postgraduate and external relations

- Dean of the Faculty of Medicine

- University Services Director

- Social services directorates

- Responsible for the Preventive Medicine Unit at the University Foundation and University Residency

- A representative of the Syndicate of Research Professors, Permanent Researchers and University Hospital Professors

- Responsible for information and communication

- A representative of the trade union

- Representatives (2) of student societies

Immediately after the inauguration of the cell, the latter began to work, where the first meeting was held in which all the details and measures to be taken into consideration were presented, whether in studies, exams, university residencies, transportation, and taking all necessary precautions to enter a successful university.

It was agreed on a number of procedures, measures and health protocols to limit the spread of the Coronavirus Covid 19, for their application and embodiment through coordination between the members and the aforementioned parties, including:

- Continuing and enhancing distance education by keeping lessons and lectures for the 2019/2020 university year

- The urban reorganization of the organization of attendance classes by groups of students

- Organization of applied work

- Managing the educational time by organizing the student’s attendance requires reducing the time for all classes, lectures and applied work.

- Prevention and protection standards

- University services from preventing student gatherings in university neighborhoods

- Health procedures: compulsory muzzle and psychological accompaniment for students and teachers after quarantine. Household, as well as providing sterilizers

- Directing and registering new baccalaureate holders

- Exam evaluation

- Special procedures for administrative workers and services

- Accompaniment and coordination
