Final of the Knight Holy Quran Competition
Here we are, the Qur’an brings us together again. A classy competition, a high competition, everyone is a winner, and for its preference, a winner in an atmosphere full of reverence and faith, the Sub-Directorate for Scientific, Cultural and Sports Activities organized the “Knight of the Holy Qur’an” competition in the context of distinguished initiatives and meaningful and rich activities for university students on February 02. 2021 in the Great Conference Hall, in the presence of the University President, Professor Muhammad Al-Taher Helilat, his deputies, the deans of the faculties, the Secretary-General of the University and its employees, and a number of personalities of all groups and ages, and all of the sheiks of the jury (Dr. Muhammad Al-Saleh Bouafia as Chairman of the Committee, Professor Hisham Al-Dawi, Professor Issa Boudshisha, Professor Muhammad Al-Azhar Boughaba), and a number of imams, chants and guests from various sectors.
This competition is considered a cultural initiative, and it opens its doors to all students of the University of Kasdi Marbah and Ouargla of both sexes, provided that three features are taken into account at its level, which is summarized in intonation, voice, and performance, and through this competition the university aims to urge students to the importance of investing time in regular study and the process of memorizing the Book of God Days and holidays to achieve two goals in the long path of life, knowing that this religious demonstration was well received by everyone.
This was the first edition of “The Knight of the Noble Qur’an”, whose slogan was “The Qur’an Tantela” was distinguished by the testimony of the members of the jury who praised the huge number of students who have memorized the Holy Qur’an and who have already become not absent from any competition to preserve the Book of God and as a proposal from the esteemed committee to further develop And expand the competition in its pro edition. During the competition, 08 contestants qualified for the final round, and the first winner, the contestant knight of the Noble Qur’an (Hudhaifa Qureshi), was honored with a pilgrimage trip offered by the School of Qur’an and Hadith and Al-Raed Academic Complex and was ranked second and third, respectively (Hamid Helwa and Wissam Salami). The organizing committee also awarded prizes Encouragement for the other contestants (Khawla Lemam - Zahira Bin Sulaiman - Ibtisam Zakkar - Nafisa Sharabi - Fatima Zahra Bin Othman) and special honors for the jury.

Training day
Today, the Institute of Technology organized a training day for students of the Department of Mines, with the activation of the expert in legal affairs and labor relations, Mr. Badr El-Din Haj Said. As for Mr. Murad Quraishi Alami, he presented a summary of international cooperation and exchange programs between universities and the various training programs abroad of all kinds. He also touched on grants, training, partnerships, and agreements concluded with universities in the field of scientific research, and lastly, on behalf of the Director for Development and Foresight, Mr. Ammar Mustafa presented a number of completed projects and future projects under XD.

The qualifying series for the semi-final round of the Golden Microphone competition in its fourth edition (04), organized by the Sub-Directorate for Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities in coordination with the activities' interests, continues. It is a competition for the benefit of all students of the University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla under the slogan "a creative university student" on Tuesday 26 January 2021 at the University Pole 03 in the College of Hydrocarbons, Renewable Energies, Earth Sciences, and the Universe, in the presence of the Dean of the College and the Sub-Director of Activities, his organizational staff and heads of activities departments at the level of the university's colleges.
Where 49 male and female contestants participated in radio and television activation, the competition’s arbitration and the guidance of the contestants are supervised by distinguished professors from the university and their stays of creativity and distinction in the media field in regional radio and television in Ouargla.
