Professor Mohamed Taher Halilat, Director of the University of Kasdi Merbah, Ouargla, chaired a meeting attended by his deputies, the head of the Quality Cell, the Head of Systems and Networks, the Secretary General of the University, and university executives, employees, and workers. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of appreciation and recognition of the efforts made by the various components of the university.

In his speech on the occasion, the Director expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to everyone who contributed to the university's recent successes, appreciating the hard work and dedication shown by everyone, including administrators, technicians, and executives. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining this upward trend of performance, calling for redoubled efforts and teamwork to achieve further gains and improve the level of services provided. For her part, Ms. Lamia Omani, Head of the Quality Cell, expressed her pride and gratitude toward all university members, considering what has been achieved the fruit of collective work and concerted efforts. She also called for continuing the same approach and working diligently to achieve the best and ensure the institutional excellence befitting the University of Ouargla, in line with the strategy of continuous development and improvement.

In a historic moment, and as part of the efforts made by the University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla to establish and improve its quality management system, the University of Ouargla received today, Thursday, April 10, 2025, the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification from the External Audit Committee, experts in quality management systems.

This was attended by the University Director, Professor Mohamed Taher Halilat, at a closing meeting in the meeting hall of the University Directorate. The meeting was attended by university cadres and members of the Quality Cell, which oversaw the preparation, follow-up and completion of the project.

 On Sunday morning, April 06, 2025, the second phase of the external audit of the quality system at Kassidi Merbah University Ouargla, headed by the university's director, Prof. Mohamed Tahar Halilat, under the supervision of the members of the external audit committee supervising the process.
The audit is scheduled to last from April 6 to 10, 2025, to include the various faculties, institutes and directorates affiliated to the university.
In the presence of the vice chancellors, deans of faculties and directors of institutes, in addition to the university's secretary general, the head of the office, the head of the quality cell, the members of the cell and the systems and networks officer.
This step comes within the framework of Kassidi Merbah University Ouargla's constant endeavor to ensure the highest quality standards in various aspects of its academic and administrative work, and to enhance the confidence of beneficiaries and partners in its outputs.

On April 5, 2025, the University Rector's Council met, chaired by the University Rector, Professor Mohamed Taher Halilat, and attended by the Vice Rectors, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Institutes, the Secretary-General, the Director of the Office, the Quality Cell Officer and other members of the Cell, the Systems and Networks Officer, and the Sub-Directors. The meeting was held in preparation for the second phase of the external audit process, scheduled to take place from April 6 to 10, 2025. During the meeting, the content of the audit program submitted by the auditors was reviewed and discussed, highlighting the various aspects and details the audit will cover. The latest preparations underway at the various directorates, faculties, and institutes were also discussed to ensure the process proceeds smoothly and achieves its desired objectives. Council members emphasized the need for concerted efforts and full cooperation with the external audit team to ensure the success of this important process, which aims to enhance performance and improve operations.
