On the morning of October 04, 2020, the National Organization for the Promotion of Civil Society, the State Office of Ouargla, carried out a campaign to sterilize facilities and facilities at  University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla, as well as runways and classrooms, to avoid the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and for the safety of all components of the university family.

Within the framework of preparations for open doors to the university in light of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19), and based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, University Kasdi Merbah Ouargla  has adopted the conversion of the open doors to the university from the classic method of organizing convoys and providing explanations and directions to students in their educational institutions. Today, the informational and orientation days will take place remotely through the university website, as well as social media sites

In this context, the deputy director in charge of pedagogy met with the officials of the fields of training teams at the level of all colleges and institutes of the university on 04 October 2020 at the university directorate, where each team official presented an informational material explaining to the student all the information related to the fields at the University of Ouargla and the national universities and showing him the training paths in Lisence, Master and doctorate degrees according to the system (LMD), as well as professional prospects for each field. And then settling on a simplified template for explanation, and in the end the process of recording these interventions takes place at the level of the university's audiovisual center and put it on the line and the sites assigned to it.

In the context of discussing projects related to the Entrepreneurial House, on September 30, 2020, the Master’s notes were discussed at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Ouargla, and the management of the latter was keen to take all preventive measures and health protocols to ensure the safety and optimal course of discussions.

The discussions in its content included the valuation and exploitation of palm remnants in civil engineering, such as the production of long fibers (velas) and their use in strengthening gypsum and ground networks, etc., and in a second project that dealt with the production and characterization of some MDF panels from palm remnants as mentioned above.      في إطار مناقشة مشاريع لها علاقة بدار المقاولاتية تم يوم 30 سبتمبر 2020 مناقشة مذكرات ماستر بكلية العلوم التطبيقية جامعة ورقلة، وحرصت إدارة هذه الأخيرة بأخذ جميع التدابير الوقائية والبروتكولات الصحية لضمان السلامة والسير الأمثل للمناقشات.

وتضمن المناقشات في فحواها تثمين وإستغلال مخلفات النخيل في الهندسة المدنية كإنتاج الألياف الطويلة(فيلاس) واستخدامها في تعزيز الجبس والشبكات الأرضية وغيرها، وفي مشروع ثاني تناول إنتاج وتوصيف بعض ألواح MDF من مخلفات النخيل كما أسلفنا الذكر، و من ناحية، فقد ركزت الدراستين على استغلال نفاياتنا بشكل جيد ما يخدم أساسا البيئة زيادة النخل ،أي زيادة حماية الغلاف الجوي بدلاً من القطع والتسبب في الخسائر. بالطبع ستكون هناك عروض عمل أو نخفض البطالة نزيد الاقتصاد الوطني بخصم الواردات.

ويعتبر الإنتقال بهذه الأبحاث والمشاريع إلى مرحلة الإستثمار والإنتاج الصناعي هو الهدف الذي تسعى إليه الكلية والجامعة ككل.
